ABOUT US IN A GLANCE

OB&HS is a manufacturer of biodegradable detergents, soaps, disinfectants, deodorants, dishwashing detergents, gels, bodywash, shampoos, lotions, cleaners, degreasers, and sanitizers. Comprehensive kitchen and bath solutions such as: appliance cleaners, floor-care and surfaces polishing, including, metal, porcelain, wood and glass. Making such products in a variety of powder, solid and liquid forms to serve the household, industrial, commercial, cosmetics, medical and janitorial sectors.

Since the beginning, OB&HS has always made “quality + value” its main priority; and that's by helping consumers to meet their cleaning needs with good quality products at the lowest possible value price. —A focus that has inspired our company to produce prime hygiene products that cater to the needs of consumers across different income groups, yet, serving a wide range of industries and hospitality firms.

Such a credo is more than just a moral compass. We believe it is a recipe for business success. And the fact that OB&HS is one of only a handful of enterprises that have flourished through decades of changes is a proof of that.



Still Wondering What It's All About?

Before the turn of the century, particularly in 1993, Edison Electric's board of directors executed a decision to explore the far-eastern business landscape. A decade later, Ratex Health Corporation, an independent subsidiary company, was founded as part of the Edison General Energy, also known as the Edison-GE® initiative.

Ratex Health soon became known globally for its C-Chambers™ (pronounced “Sea Chambers”). A range of reliable asthma aerosol delivery medical spacer devices.

Ratex Health's business grew and branched out to cover other product segments, and one day OLA™ brand was born out of necessity, due to demands for some sort of new medical hygiene and cleaning products. In principal, OLA™ was born on that very first day of February 2004, and trademarked as an answer to a call of duty.

Twelve years earlier prior to the incorporation of OB&HS, the Tang business family had started a detergent factory in Keelung, Taiwan that soon became known for its high quality cleaning powders. Their local market share grew significantly, so in order to meet increasing demand, and in one of their biggest expansions, a new detergent production factory and a processing plant were established in Guangdong Province, Southern China in 1994, which later became part of the OB&HS merger.

Since then OB&HS has came a long way from its humble beginnings. By combining Ratex-Edison's management and technology fields' experience, input of private capital from Middle-Eastern investors and utilizing Edison's “Advanced Materials” legendary heritage of product development, OB&HS was transformed into one of the leading cleaning products makers, producing high quality detergent powders, hygiene liquids, personal care and medical support solutions for customers worldwide.

Thanks to state-of-the-art technology, currently OB&HS possesses one of the most modern detergents and cleaning by-products manufacturing facilities in the eastern hemisphere.

Today, OB&HS has production facilities known for its unique straining process that gives OLA™ concentrated encapsulated detergent particles an exclusive quality characteristic and strong detergency power. Additionally, OB&HS has a separate processing plant with a growing capacity of more than 60,000 combined powder and liquid metric-tons annually, as well as a shipping-point warehouse with a capacity of nearly 4,000 pallets at once.

Even after all these years until this day in , OB&HS is still a family-oriented and run business whose motto is: “We would never make a product that we would not use personally, or would not suit our own children.”
